Long Track Championship
Following several cancellations; Spedeworth currently have 3 spaces available for the Rookie Rod Long Track Championship at Foxhall Stadium, Ipswich (IP4 5TL) this Saturday November 19th at 6:45pm.
These spaces will now be offered on a first come first served basis.

JB Motorsport Series Final
The Rookie Rods were in action at Wimbledon for the JB Motorsport Series Final on Sunday night.
Congratulations go out to 747 Matthew Farren who won a new JB Race Engine as a result of winning the grand final.
Also congratulations to 105 Karl Baker for coming 2nd and 506 Lee Woolgar for coming 3rd!

Spedeworth have been informed by KYB UK that the front spring listed in the current Spedeworth Rookie Rod rules on page 8 (Part Number KYB-KRA5041) has now been superseded by the part number KYB-KRA5290.
Spedeworth wish to notify drivers that either of these part numbers is permitted for use.
Furthermore, Spedeworth are looking into the Rookie Rod rules with a view to next year. The double linkage mechanism on the carburretor will be illegal from January 1st 2012. We can't see how this is costing £100-£150. You can run a pipe round the back but there is to be no made up linkage which will allow both to open together.
